The Advanced Treble Chorus from South Forsyth Middle School was a featured performer at the Georgia Music Educators Association's Annual In-Service Conference this week. Performing in the primetime slot on Friday night, they treated the audience to works by Elaine Hagenberg, Eric Whitacre, and Dan Forrest, among others.
The choir was selected to perform by a commitee that reviewed recordings and applications submitted by schools all over the state last spring. This is the second time a choir from SFMS has been selected to perform at the conference under Mr. Marshall's direction; the SFMS Chamber Choir was previously selected in 2020.
